We are looking to sublet our beautiful 1-bedroom apartment at the Octagon on Roosevelt Island. The apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors, washer and dryer in unit, walk-in closets, and stainless steel appliances. This particular apartment is a corner unit with two glass walls in the living room.
With this apartment, you get access to the building’s outdoor pool as well as optional access to the state-of-the-art gym and club rooms. Additionally, there are six tennis courts right outside of the apartment as well as a convenience store downstairs. Finally, there is a parking garage downstairs.
It is an absolutely beautiful apartment, with no noise from neighbors or any other issues. We are moving due to a school situation but otherwise would not leave this apartment.
Our lease ends on May 15, 2014 and we are looking to move out by early September. Monthly rent is $2,500, which is below the current average 1-bedroom price at the Octagon.
